(ב"ר פמ"א ח') (יא) וי"י אמר אל "אברם וגו' (בראשית יג יד). ר' יודה אמר כעס וכו', אמר הקב"ה וכו'. רצונו לפרש וי"י בכל מקום הוא ובית דינו שהוא מדת הדין, ומהו מדת הדין היה בכאן, ולכך אמר שהיה מדת הדין וכעס על שאינו מדבק בן אחיו:

רבי נחמיה אמר כעס וכו'. וסברת רבי נחמיה הוא בהיפך וי"י הוא ובית דינו, אמר אל אברם אמירה לשון חיבה, ר"ל גם המדת הדין אמר בלשון חיבה אל אברם אחרי הפרד לוט מעמו, מה שאין כן קודם הפרדו היה מדת הדין בכעס, נ"ל:
