**"מסקין "חמרא.** הוסיף תיבת "מסקין על דברי המקרא, ורצונו דהוה ליה למימר בורות בורות וכתב "בארות (בראשית יד י), וידוע החילוק בין בור לבא"ר, דבור הוא מכונס ממקום אחר, "ובאר הוא הנובע מתוכו. על כן כתב "מסקין חמרא, ר"ל היה החמר נובע ועולה מתוכו ולא ייבש לעולם, ומשמיענו זה הכתוב לפי דעת רז"ל (ב"ר פמ"ב ז') שעלה מתוכם מלך סדום, ונס גדול היה זה לעלות מתוך באר כזה:
