**דהוה מדבר בזכותא דאברם.** דייק תיבות ההל"ך א"ת אבר"ם (בראשית יג ה) דמיותר, ומפרש ברש"י מי גרם לו זאת הליכתו עם אברם ונשפע מזכותו:

**והוה דייני"ן.** מפרש תיבת רי"ב (בראשית יג ז) לשון ויכוח, כענין כי ריב לי"י עם עמו ועם ישראל יתווכח (מיכה ו ב). בפסוק ח' פירש מצות"א, כי שם נאמר מריב"ה, ולשינוי הלשון פירש באופנים שונים:

**דרעא"י דאברם הוו מפקדין מיניה לא תהכון וכו'.** פירש כן משום דתיבות והכנעני והפריזי אז יושב בארץ, אין לו מקום פה לפי הפשט וכפירוש רש"י, והויכוח גם כן נרמז במקרא, דהוה ליה למימר רק ויהי ריב בין רועי אברם ובין רועי לוט, כמ"ש (בראשית כו כ) ויריבו רועי גרר עם רועי יצחק, למה אמר מקנ"ה. אלא להורות דהריב היה בעסק מרעה המקנה, שהיו רועים בכנעני ופריזי, נ"ל:

**וזקף לוט ית עינוי לזנ"ו.** דמאי שייך לומר בכאן נשיאת עינים. אלא על כרחך הוא לזנות שראה ששם מקום זנות, שבזנות שייך לומר כן, כענין שנאמר ועיניו לא נשא אל גילולי בית ישראל דיחזקאל (יח ו), שפירשו ז"ל (שבת י"ג ע"א) אזנות, וכן דרשו רז"ל כאן במדרש (ב"ר פמ"א ז'):

**עד לא חבל י"י ברוגזיה.** הוסיף תיבת ברוגזיה, כי באמת הויה רחמים, רק ארורים הרשעים שמהפכין מדת הרחמים למדת הדין:

**תייר"ן אימ"ר.** איני יודע פירושו. ואפשר דיר הבקר נקרא תיירי"ן, ודיר העזים נקרא אימ"ר. ודייק ויאה"ל (בראשית יג יא), ר"ל שעשה אוהלים לבהמותיו, ומשמיענו יודע צדיק נפש בהמתו, ועשה תחלה דירות לבהמותיו, ואחר כך ויבא וישב. ויש גירסא שכתוב בפירוש משכני"ן לתור"י ואמר"י, והוא הנכון ואין לי כעת פירוש אחר:
