לְשַׁבָּחָא עַל נִסַיָא דְאִתְרְחִישׁוּ לְעַבְדָא דַייָ לְדָוִד דְשַׁבָּח בִּנְבוּאָה קֳדָם יְיָ יַת פִּתְגָמֵי שִׁירְתָא הָדָא עַל כָּל יוֹמַיָא דְשֵׁזְבֵיהּ יְיָ מִן יְדָא דְכָל בַּעֲלֵי דְבָבוֹי וּמֵחַרְבָּא דְשָׁאוּל:

For praise. About *the miracles that occurred to* the servant of the LORD, David, who sang *in prophecy* in the presence of the LORD the words of this song about all the days that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from *the sword of* Saul.
