שמעתי בשם הבעל שם טוב ז"ל מפני מה אנו רואים אישים פועלי און ידברו בצוואר עתק בגאוה ובוז על אנשים משכילים, דברי ריבות וכזבים, הם הם דיבורים שלהם בעצמם, על שיש להם דיבורים נפולים, שלא שמרו פיהם ולשונם, ועתה נתלבשו אלו הדיבורים ברשעים האלה להלשין עליהם וכו':
