**לך לך מארצך וגו'.**ובפירש"י ועוד שאודיע טבעך בעולם, שמעתי ממורי זלה"ה בשם רבינו סעדיה גאון כי עיקר בריאת האדם בעולם הזה הוא לשבר מדות רעות שלו הטבעיות, ובזה מעלה וכו':
(בן פורת יוסף דכ"ז ע"ב). ובזה מעלה מדרגה הנקרא **טבעך** [מה שהוא דרך הטבע] **בעולם** עליון שנקרא עולם לשון העלם והסתר: (כן סיים בה בכתר שם טוב ד"ג ע"ב).

I heard from my Master in the name of Rav Sa’adiah Gaon, that a person is created solely to break his negative, inborn character traits. Through this, he raises up the level called “your nature” [i.e. what is natural for you] “in the world” - [i.e. into the world] Above.” It is called “world” (*olam*) from the word “hidden” (*he’elam*) and “concealed.”
