כמו שמתערבב השטן בגאולה כלליית דיתקעו בשופר גדול, כך מתערבב בגאולה פרטיית, כמו שכתוב (תהילים ס״ט:י״ט) קרבה אל נפשי גאלה וכמו ששמעתי בשם מורי, שעל זה יתפלל כל חסיד לגאול נפשו מיצר הרע, בפרט בראש השנה ויום כפור וכו' ודפח"ח:

Just as the Satan will be disoriented when the universal redemption arrives, and the Great Shofar will be blown,¹ so it becomes confused with an individual's redemption, as it is written: “Draw close to my soul and redeem it” (Psalms 69:19).
Every person should pray for personal deliverence from the evil inclination, especially on Rosh Hashana and Yom HaKippur.
