**ורחל היתה יפת תואר וגו', ויאהב יעקב את רחל וגו'.**זה היה בעבור שיש ליעקב מדת התפארת כל מה שהיה רואה דבר נאה אמר אם לגשמי זה נאה מכל שכן אם היה בזה הדבר הלול ושבח לה':

This was because Jacob had the attribute of Tiferet (“Beauty”).⁶ Whenever he saw something attractive, he would say: “If this beauty so becomes a physical thing, how much higher would it be if it was dedicated to praising and glorifying G‑d.
