שמענו מעשה שהיה בימי הבעל שם טוב ז"ל, שבא אליו גלגול אחד מאדם גדול אחד שהיה בימי האר"י ז"ל, ומאותו הזמן הרב הזה היה מצפה עד אשר בא הבעל שם טוב לתקן את נשמתו, ולא השיגה ידו להיות זוכה לבוא לצדיקי הדור שהיה לפניו כי לא הניחוהו עד זמן הבעש"ט ז"ל.
