**(יב) שתוכחתו תועיל להם להפסיקם.** ואפילו אם תוכחתו לא תועיל להם, ויש לו עצה אחרת איך להשיא את לבם לענין אחר, צריך הוא לעשות כן, כמו בכל שאר איסורים שצריך לעשות בכל טצדקי להפריש את חבירו מאיסור, (וכן מוכח בספר יראים להרא״ם במצוה ל״ז). וכמו דאמרינן בברכות (י״ט ע״ב) המוצא כלאים וכו' מ״ט במקום שיש חילול השם אין חולקין כבוד לרב, וכפי מה שפסק הרמב״ם וביו״ד בסימן ש״ג ס״א (ועי״ש בבאר הגולה) דאפילו מצא כלאים בבגד רבו צריך לפושטו מעליו כדי להפרישו מאיסור עי״ש, ועל אחת כמה וכמה בעניננו שאינו מביישם כלל רק שמשיא את לבם לענין אחר, דודאי מחוייב הוא לעשות כן.

**(יג) לא יקלקל ג״כ עי״ז.** דאם עי״ז יוסיפו לדבר עליו יותר ויותר, אין לו להשיבם כלל בענין זה, כיון שמתוך שהוא מזרזם שלא לגנותו הם מגנים אותו יותר, הוא בכלל אל יספר אדם בשבחו של חבירו שמתוך וכו'. ולענין איך יתנהג אז לצאת ידי שמים עיין לעיל בכלל ו' ס״ה.
