**של כותיים וכו'.** והפסח שלהם, לפי חשבונם, לפעמים חל שלא בזמן הפסח שלנו, ונמצא שהחזיקו חמץ בפסח שלנו, ואף לאחר הפסח אסור בהנאה.

**אף כשאמרו וכו'.** כלומר, אמנם נכון הוא שנחתומין בכרכין היו אופין שלש אפיות מיוחדות ביום אחד, אבל הם היו יוצרים (בודים) להם שאור לכל האפיות שבאותו יום, והיו עושים שאור מיום לחבירו, עיין בבה"א.

**בזמן שלא עשו וכו'.** חוזר לעצם ההלכה שאין חמץ של כותים אסור לאחר הפסח, אלא בזמן שלא עיברו את השנה ועשו את הפסח באדר (או להפך), או שהיה הבדל בינינו וביניהם יום אחד (בחדשים חסרים ויתירים), והם הקדימו יום אחד, וביום אחרון של פסח שלנו אכלו חמץ.
