**כי נפש הבשר בדם.** "ואני נתתיו על המזבח" דמשמע דאיסורו הוא משום דהוא דם הנפש וגם דהוא שייך רק למזבח. ודם הנפש מקרי דם המקלח בשעת שחיטה ודם התמצית מה שמתמצה אחר כך:
