בִּכְלָל זֶה יְבֹאר קְצָת אִסּוּר לָשׁוֹן הָרָע מֵעֵנְיָנִים, דְּבֵין אָדָם לחֲבֵרוֹ, וְעִנְין שְׁלִילַת הַמַּעְלוֹת וְדִינֵי לָשׁוֹן הָרָע, שֶׁתָּלוּי לְפִי הָאִישׁ, וְאִסּוּר לָשׁוֹן הָרָע עַל נִכְסֵי חֲבֵרוֹ, וּבוֹ ח' סְעִיפִים.

In this principle there will be explained part of the issur of lashon hara in matters "between man and his neighbor": the question of the negation of [good] attributes, the dinim of lashon hara that are dependent upon the man [spoken of], and the issur of lashon hara about the property of one's friend. It contains eight sections.
