**ושייפא לה בחבלא דצבתא.** משפשף בחבל העשוי מצבת דקל בחוזק את התאנה עד שיסיר כל הקליפה מעליה:

**וסריך עליה ביזרא.** מתוך זה יצא ויכלה את הזרע שבאמצע האילן והוא לב האילן שממנו תוצאת הפרי. ואית דגרס בחלבא דצבתא כלומר ישוף וימשח התאנה בחלב של שרוף ששמו צב ומתוך זה ימות הזרע ויחדל מלעשות עוד פרי:

**היכא דמסיק ארעא שירטון.** כלומר אצל שפת הנהר במקום לחלוחית יטע אותו כי בענין אחר לא יצמח:

**ותלת סוכין.** ג' ענפים מהן הם כ"כ גדולים שאין גשר מחזיק אותם כי מחמת כבידן יפול הגשר:

**קורה עבדי פירי לא עבדי.** דמתוך שאינו עושה פרי נעשו הקורות עבים וגדולים כי כל יניקת האילן נכנס בעץ:
