**אבל צוה בו לתועלת.** ר"ל ומפני זה אנחנו מותרים להרוג אותם ולא יש בו היתר בלבד אבל מצוה היה להרגם שנאמר לא תחיה כל נשמה, וזאת הצואה להרגם בעבור תועלת והיא שלא ילמדו ממעשיהם, וכבר ביאר זה הרב בפ' כ"ד מראשון:
