## Ezekiel Chapter 30

###### Ezekiel 30:1

וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

###### Ezekiel 30:2

בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵא֙ וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הֵילִ֖ילוּ הָ֥הּ לַיּֽוֹם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord God; Howl, Alas for the day!


###### Ezekiel 30:3

כִּֽי־קָר֣וֹב י֔וֹם וְקָר֥וֹב י֖וֹם לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה י֣וֹם עָנָ֔ן עֵ֥ת גּוֹיִ֖ם יִהְיֶֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the nations.


###### Ezekiel 30:4

וּבָאָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְהָיְתָ֤ה חַלְחָלָה֙ בְּכ֔וּשׁ בִּנְפֹ֥ל חָלָ֖ל בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְלָקְח֣וּ הֲמוֹנָ֔הּ וְנֶהֶרְס֖וּ יְסֹדוֹתֶֽיהָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the sword shall come upon Miżrayim, and anguish shall be in Kush, when the slain shall fall in Miżrayim, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.


###### Ezekiel 30:5

כּ֣וּשׁ וּפ֤וּט וְלוּד֙ וְכׇל־הָעֶ֣רֶב וְכ֔וּב וּבְנֵ֖י אֶ֣רֶץ הַבְּרִ֑ית אִתָּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Kush, and Put, and Lud, and all ῾Erev, and Kuv, and the men of the land that is in league (with them,) shall fall with them by the sword.


###### Ezekiel 30:6

כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ סֹמְכֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וְיָרַ֖ד גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ מִמִּגְדֹּ֣ל סְוֵנֵ֗ה בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ יִפְּלוּ־בָ֔הּ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Thus says the Lord; They also that uphold Miżrayim shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from Migdol to Seven shall they fall in it by the sword, says the Lord God.


###### Ezekiel 30:7

וְנָשַׁ֕מּוּ בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֑וֹת וְעָרָ֕יו בְּתוֹךְ־עָרִ֥ים נַחֲרָב֖וֹת תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be (wasted) in the midst of the cities that are wasted.


###### Ezekiel 30:8

וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה בְּתִתִּי־אֵ֣שׁ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ כׇּל־עֹזְרֶֽיהָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have set a fire in Miżrayim, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.


###### Ezekiel 30:9

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵצְא֨וּ מַלְאָכִ֤ים מִלְּפָנַי֙ בַּצִּ֔ים לְהַחֲרִ֖יד אֶת־כּ֣וּשׁ בֶּ֑טַח וְהָיְתָ֨ה חַלְחָלָ֤ה בָהֶם֙ בְּי֣וֹם מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֥י הִנֵּ֖ה בָּאָֽה׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
On that day shall messengers go from me in ships to terrify the confident men of Kush, and anguish shall come upon them, as in the day of Miżrayim: for, lo, it comes.


###### Ezekiel 30:10

כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ אֶת־הֲמ֣וֹן מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּיַ֖ד נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶֽל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Thus says the Lord God; I will also put an end to the multitude of Miżrayim by the hand of Nevukhadreżżar king of Bavel.


###### Ezekiel 30:11

ה֠וּא וְעַמּ֤וֹ אִתּוֹ֙ עָרִיצֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם מוּבָאִ֖ים לְשַׁחֵ֣ת הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־מִצְרַ֔יִם וּמָלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ חָלָֽל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Miżrayim; and fill the land with the slain.

וְנָתַתִּ֤י יְאֹרִים֙ חׇֽרָבָ֔ה וּמָכַרְתִּ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיַד־רָעִ֑ים וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞י אֶ֤רֶץ וּמְלֹאָהּ֙ בְּיַד־זָרִ֔ים אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will make the streams dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land desolate, and all that is in it, by the hand of strangers: I the Lord have spoken it.

כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨י גִלּוּלִ֜ים וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י אֱלִילִים֙ מִנֹּ֔ף וְנָשִׂ֥יא מֵאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֑וֹד וְנָתַתִּ֥י יִרְאָ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Thus says the Lord God; I will also destroy the idols, and I will put an end to the images of Nof; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Miżrayim: and I will put a fear in the land of Miżrayim.


###### Ezekiel 30:14

וַֽהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙ אֶת־פַּתְר֔וֹס וְנָתַ֥תִּי אֵ֖שׁ בְּצֹ֑עַן וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּנֹֽא׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will make Patros desolate, and will set fire in Żo῾an, and will execute judgments in No.


###### Ezekiel 30:15

וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣י חֲמָתִ֔י עַל־סִ֖ין מָע֣וֹז מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י אֶת־הֲמ֥וֹן נֹֽא׃

And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Miżrayim; and I will cut off the multitude of No.


###### Ezekiel 30:16

וְנָתַ֤תִּי אֵשׁ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ח֤וּל (תחיל) [תָּחוּל֙] סִ֔ין וְנֹ֖א תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה לְהִבָּקֵ֑עַ וְנֹ֖ף צָרֵ֥י יוֹמָֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will set a fire in Miżrayim: Sin shall be in great agony, and No shall be rent asunder, and Nof shall have enemies by day.


###### Ezekiel 30:17

בַּח֥וּרֵי אָ֛וֶן וּפִי־בֶ֖סֶת בַּחֶ֣רֶב יִפֹּ֑לוּ וְהֵ֖נָּה בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The young men of Aven and of Pi-veset shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.


###### Ezekiel 30:18

וּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙ חָשַׂ֣ךְ הַיּ֔וֹם בְּשִׁבְרִי־שָׁם֙ אֶת־מֹט֣וֹת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבַּת־בָּ֖הּ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ הִ֚יא עָנָ֣ן יְכַסֶּ֔נָּה וּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָ בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
At Teĥafneĥes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Miżrayim: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.

וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃{פ}

Thus will I execute judgments in Miżrayim: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

וַיְהִ֗י בְּאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם אֶת־זְר֛וֹעַ פַּרְעֹ֥ה מֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֖יִם שָׁבָ֑רְתִּי וְהִנֵּ֣ה לֹֽא־חֻ֠בְּשָׁ֠ה לָתֵ֨ת רְפֻא֜וֹת לָשׂ֥וּם חִתּ֛וּל לְחׇבְשָׁ֥הּ לְחׇזְקָ֖הּ לִתְפֹּ֥שׂ בֶּחָֽרֶב׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Par῾o king of Miżrayim; and, lo, it has not been bound up to be healed, to put a dressing to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר**׀** אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִי֙ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֔יִם וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת־זְרֹ֣עֹתָ֔יו אֶת־הַחֲזָקָ֖ה וְאֶת־הַנִּשְׁבָּ֑רֶת וְהִפַּלְתִּ֥י אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב מִיָּדֽוֹ׃

Therefore thus says the Lord God; Behold, I am against Par῾o king of Miżrayim and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֥י אֶת־מִצְרַ֖יִם בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם וְזֵרִיתִ֖ם בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃

And I will scatter Miż­rayim among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.


###### Ezekiel 30:24

וְחִזַּקְתִּ֗י אֶת־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת־חַרְבִּ֖י בְּיָד֑וֹ וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת־זְרֹע֣וֹת פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְנָאַ֛ק נַאֲק֥וֹת חָלָ֖ל לְפָנָֽיו׃

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Par῾o’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of deadly wounded man.

וְהַחֲזַקְתִּ֗י אֶת־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וּזְרֹע֥וֹת פַּרְעֹ֖ה תִּפֹּ֑לְנָה וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה בְּתִתִּ֤י חַרְבִּי֙ בְּיַ֣ד מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָטָ֥ה אוֹתָ֖הּ אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

Thus I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, and the arms of Par῾o shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Bavel, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Miżrayim.

וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֤י אֶת־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם בָּאֲרָצ֑וֹת וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃{פ}

And I will scatter Miżrayim among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
