## Ezekiel Chapter 41

###### Ezekiel 41:1

וַיְבִיאֵ֖נִי אֶל־הַהֵיכָ֑ל וַיָּ֣מׇד אֶת־הָאֵילִ֗ים שֵׁשׁ־אַמּ֨וֹת רֹ֧חַב מִפּ֛וֹ וְשֵׁשׁ־אַמּֽוֹת־רֹ֥חַב מִפּ֖וֹ רֹ֥חַב הָאֹֽהֶל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Then he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tent.


###### Ezekiel 41:2

וְרֹ֣חַב הַפֶּ֘תַח֮ עֶ֣שֶׂר אַמּוֹת֒ וְכִתְפ֣וֹת הַפֶּ֔תַח חָמֵ֤שׁ אַמּוֹת֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וְחָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת מִפּ֑וֹ וַיָּ֤מׇד אׇרְכּוֹ֙ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֖חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured its length, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.


###### Ezekiel 41:3

וּבָ֣א לִפְנִ֔ימָה וַיָּ֥מׇד אֵֽיל־הַפֶּ֖תַח שְׁתַּ֣יִם אַמּ֑וֹת וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙ שֵׁ֣שׁ אַמּ֔וֹת וְרֹ֥חַב הַפֶּ֖תַח שֶׁ֥בַע אַמּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Then he came to the interior, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.


###### Ezekiel 41:4

וַיָּ֨מׇד אֶת־אׇרְכּ֜וֹ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אַמָּ֗ה וְרֹ֛חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּ֖ה אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַהֵיכָ֑ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י זֶ֖ה קֹ֥דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
So he measured its length, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, according to the breadth of the temple: and he said to me, This is the most holy place.


###### Ezekiel 41:5

וַיָּ֥מׇד קִֽיר־הַבַּ֖יִת שֵׁ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וְרֹ֣חַב הַצֵּלָע֩ אַרְבַּ֨ע אַמּ֜וֹת סָבִ֧יב׀סָבִ֛יב לַבַּ֖יִת סָבִֽיב׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.


###### Ezekiel 41:6

וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ צֵלָ֨ע אֶל־צֵלָ֜ע שָׁל֧וֹשׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים פְּעָמִ֗ים וּ֠בָא֠וֹת בַּקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר־לַבַּ֧יִת לַצְּלָע֛וֹת סָבִ֥יב׀סָבִ֖יב לִהְי֣וֹת אֲחוּזִ֑ים וְלֹֽא־יִהְי֥וּ אֲחוּזִ֖ים בְּקִ֥יר הַבָּֽיִת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the side chambers were one over another thirty three times; and there were recesses in the wall of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, so that they were not fastened into the wall of the house.


###### Ezekiel 41:7

וְֽרָחֲבָ֡ה וְֽנָסְבָה֩ לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה לַצְּלָע֗וֹת כִּ֣י מֽוּסַב־הַ֠בַּ֠יִת לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה סָבִ֤יב׀סָבִיב֙ לַבַּ֔יִת עַל־כֵּ֥ן רֹחַב־לַבַּ֖יִת לְמָ֑עְלָה וְכֵ֧ן הַתַּחְתּוֹנָ֛ה יַעֲלֶ֥ה עַל־הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֖ה לַתִּיכוֹנָֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the side chambers were broader as one circled higher and higher: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth let in to the house continued upward; and thus one ascended from the lowest level to the topmost level by the middle.


###### Ezekiel 41:8

וְרָאִ֧יתִי לַבַּ֛יִת גֹּ֖בַהּ סָבִ֣יב׀סָבִ֑יב (מיסדות) [מוּסְד֤וֹת] הַצְּלָעוֹת֙ מְל֣וֹ הַקָּנֶ֔ה שֵׁ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת אַצִּֽילָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I saw also that the house had a platform round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six long cubits.


###### Ezekiel 41:9

רֹ֣חַב הַקִּ֧יר אֲֽשֶׁר־לַצֵּלָ֛ע אֶל־הַח֖וּץ חָמֵ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר מֻנָּ֔ח בֵּ֥ית צְלָע֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַבָּֽיִת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber on the outside, was five cubits: and so was that which was left by the place of the side chambers of the house.


###### Ezekiel 41:10

וּבֵ֨ין הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת רֹ֣חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּ֛ה סָבִ֥יב לַבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֥יב׀סָבִֽיב׃

And between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.


###### Ezekiel 41:11

וּפֶ֤תַח הַצֵּלָע֙ לַמֻּנָּ֔ח פֶּ֤תַח אֶחָד֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן וּפֶ֥תַח אֶחָ֖ד לַדָּר֑וֹם וְרֹ֙חַב֙ מְק֣וֹם הַמֻּנָּ֔ח חָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת סָבִ֥יב׀סָבִֽיב׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the doors of the side chambers were towards the place that was left, one door towards the north, and another door towards the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.

וְהַבִּנְיָ֡ן אֲשֶׁר֩ אֶל־פְּנֵ֨י הַגִּזְרָ֜ה פְּאַ֣ת דֶּֽרֶךְ־הַיָּ֗ם רֹ֚חַב שִׁבְעִ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְקִ֧יר הַבִּנְיָ֛ן חָמֵשׁ־אַמּ֥וֹת רֹ֖חַב סָבִ֣יב׀סָבִ֑יב וְאׇרְכּ֖וֹ תִּשְׁעִ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Now the building that was before the main wing on the side towards the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and its length was ninety cubits.

וּמָדַ֣ד אֶת־הַבַּ֔יִת אֹ֖רֶךְ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה וְהַגִּזְרָ֤ה וְהַבִּנְיָה֙ וְקִ֣ירוֹתֶ֔יהָ אֹ֖רֶךְ מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
So he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; including the main wing and the building, with its walls, a hundred cubits long;


###### Ezekiel 41:14

וְרֹ֩חַב֩ פְּנֵ֨י הַבַּ֧יִת וְהַגִּזְרָ֛ה לַקָּדִ֖ים מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃

also the breadth of the front of the house and of the main wing towards the east, a hundred cubits.

וּמָדַ֣ד אֹֽרֶךְ־הַ֠בִּנְיָ֠ן אֶל־פְּנֵ֨י הַגִּזְרָ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־אַחֲרֶ֧יהָ (ואתוקיהא) [וְאַתִּיקֶ֛יהָא] מִפּ֥וֹ וּמִפּ֖וֹ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה וְהַהֵיכָל֙ הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְאֻלַמֵּ֖י הֶחָצֵֽר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And he measured the length of the building in front of the main wing which was behind it, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court:


###### Ezekiel 41:16

הַסִּפִּ֡ים וְהַחַלּוֹנִ֣ים הָ֠אֲטֻמ֠וֹת וְהָאַתִּיקִ֤ים׀סָבִיב֙ לִשְׁלׇשְׁתָּ֔ם נֶ֧גֶד הַסַּ֛ף שְׂחִ֥יף עֵ֖ץ סָבִ֣יב׀סָבִ֑יב וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ עַד־הַֽחַלּוֹנ֔וֹת וְהַחַלֹּנ֖וֹת מְכֻסּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
the thresholds, and the narrow windows, and the galleries were round about those three: opposite the threshold there was a wooden panelling all round, so the space from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;


###### Ezekiel 41:17

עַל־מֵעַ֣ל הַפֶּ֡תַח וְעַד־הַבַּ֩יִת֩ הַפְּנִימִ֨י וְלַח֜וּץ וְאֶל־כׇּל־הַקִּ֨יר סָבִ֧יב׀סָבִ֛יב בַּפְּנִימִ֥י וּבַחִיצ֖וֹן מִדּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
likewise to the space above the door even to the inner house, and outside, and on all the wall round about inside and outside by measure.


###### Ezekiel 41:18

וְעָשׂ֥וּי כְּרוּבִ֖ים וְתִמֹרִ֑ים וְתִֽמֹרָה֙ בֵּין־כְּר֣וּב לִכְר֔וּב וּשְׁנַ֥יִם פָּנִ֖ים לַכְּרֽוּב׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it was made with keruvim and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between one keruv and another; and every keruv had two faces:


###### Ezekiel 41:19

וּפְנֵ֨י אָדָ֤ם אֶל־הַתִּֽמֹרָה֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וּפְנֵי־כְפִ֥יר אֶל־הַתִּמֹרָ֖ה מִפּ֑וֹ עָשׂ֥וּי אֶל־כׇּל־הַבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֥יב׀סָבִֽיב׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
so that the face of a man was towards the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion towards the palm tree on the other side: thus was it made through all the house round about.


###### Ezekiel 41:20

מֵהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ עַד־מֵעַ֣ל הַפֶּ֔תַח הַכְּרוּבִ֥ים וְהַתִּמֹרִ֖ים עֲשׂוּיִ֑ם וְקִ֖יר הַׄהֵׄיׄכָֽׄלׄ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
From the ground to above the door were fashioned keruvim and palm trees, and so on the wall of the temple.


###### Ezekiel 41:21

הַהֵיכָ֖ל מְזוּזַ֣ת רְבֻעָ֑ה וּפְנֵ֣י הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה כַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The posts of the temple were squared, and likewise the front of the sanctuary; the appearance of the latter was like the appearance of the former.


###### Ezekiel 41:22

הַמִּזְבֵּ֡חַ עֵ֣ץ שָׁלוֹשׁ֩ אַמּ֨וֹת גָּבֹ֜הַּ וְאׇרְכּ֣וֹ שְׁתַּֽיִם־אַמּ֗וֹת וּמִקְצֹֽעוֹתָיו֙ ל֔וֹ וְאׇרְכּ֥וֹ וְקִירֹתָ֖יו עֵ֑ץ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלַ֔י זֶ֚ה הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The altar, three cubits high, and two cubits long was of wood; and it had corners; and its length and its walls were of wood: and he said to me, This is the table that is before the Lord.

וּשְׁתַּ֧יִם דְּלָת֛וֹת לַהֵיכָ֖ל וְלַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

וּשְׁתַּ֥יִם דְּלָת֖וֹת לַדְּלָת֑וֹת שְׁ֚תַּיִם מוּסַבּ֣וֹת דְּלָת֔וֹת שְׁ֚תַּיִם לְדֶ֣לֶת אֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּ֥י דְלָת֖וֹת לָאַחֶֽרֶת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the doors had two leaves each, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.

וַעֲשׂוּיָ֨ה אֲלֵיהֶ֜ן אֶל־דַּלְת֤וֹת הַהֵיכָל֙ כְּרוּבִ֣ים וְתִמֹרִ֔ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲשׂוּיִ֖ם לַקִּיר֑וֹת וְעָ֥ב עֵ֛ץ אֶל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאוּלָ֖ם מֵהַחֽוּץ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And there were fashioned on them, on the doors of the temple, keruvim and palm trees, such as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks on the front of the porch outside.

וְחַלּוֹנִ֨ים אֲטֻמ֤וֹת וְתִֽמֹרִים֙ מִפּ֣וֹ וּמִפּ֔וֹ אֶל־כִּתְפ֖וֹת הָאוּלָ֑ם וְצַלְע֥וֹת הַבַּ֖יִת וְהָעֻבִּֽים׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and on the thick planks.
