**גמרא נמנו וגמרו נוח לו לאדם שלא נברא יותר משנברא**. נ״ב קרא כתיב [קהלת ד] וטוב משניהם אבל צ"ע ליישב:

It appears to me [this idea] is written in the verse “and better than both of them” (Ecclesiastes 4:3), but it requires analysis to reconcile [how the Talmudic Rabbis could debate an idea which a Biblical verse takes a stance on].
