###### I Chronicles 15:1

וַיַּעַשׂ־ל֥וֹ בָתִּ֖ים בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִ֑יד וַיָּ֤כֶן מָקוֹם֙ לַאֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וַיֶּט־ל֖וֹ אֹֽהֶל׃

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of God, and to minister to him forever.

כִּ֛י לְמַבָּרִ֥אשׁוֹנָ֖ה לֹ֣א אַתֶּ֑ם פָּרַ֨ץ יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ בָּ֔נוּ כִּֽי־לֹ֥א דְרַשְׁנֻ֖הוּ כַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃

For because you did not do so at first, the Lord our God made a breach upon us, because we did not seek him according to the prescribed form.

And David spoke to the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, lutes and lyres and cymbals, playing loudly to raise sounds of joy.

And Kenanyahu, chief of the Levites, was over the song: he was master in the song, because he was skilful.

And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites who bore the ark, and the singers, and Kenanya the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an efod of linen.

וְכׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מַֽעֲלִים֙ אֶת־אֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־יְהֹוָ֔ה בִּתְרוּעָה֙ וּבְק֣וֹל שׁוֹפָ֔ר וּבַחֲצֹצְר֖וֹת וּבִמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם מַשְׁמִעִ֕ים בִּנְבָלִ֖ים וְכִנֹּרֽוֹת׃

Thus all Yisra᾽el brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the shofar, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with lutes and lyres.
