## Isaiah Chapter 4

###### Isaiah 4:1

וְהֶחֱזִ֩יקוּ֩ שֶׁ֨בַע נָשִׁ֜ים בְּאִ֣ישׁ אֶחָ֗ד בַּיּ֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַחְמֵ֣נוּ נֹאכֵ֔ל וְשִׂמְלָתֵ֖נוּ נִלְבָּ֑שׁ רַ֗ק יִקָּרֵ֤א שִׁמְךָ֙ עָלֵ֔ינוּ אֱסֹ֖ף חֶרְפָּתֵֽנוּ׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name; take away our reproach.


###### Isaiah 4:2

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ צֶ֣מַח יְהֹוָ֔ה לִצְבִ֖י וּלְכָב֑וֹד וּפְרִ֤י הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ לְגָא֣וֹן וּלְתִפְאֶ֔רֶת לִפְלֵיטַ֖ת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
In that day shall the plant of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Yisra᾽el.


###### Isaiah 4:3

וְהָיָ֣ה**׀** הַנִּשְׁאָ֣ר בְּצִיּ֗וֹן וְהַנּוֹתָר֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם קָד֖וֹשׁ יֵאָ֣מֶר ל֑וֹ כׇּל־הַכָּת֥וּב לַחַיִּ֖ים בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Żiyyon, and he that remains in Yerushalayim, shall be called holy, every one in Yerushalayim that is written to life:


###### Isaiah 4:4

אִ֣ם**׀** רָחַ֣ץ אֲדֹנָ֗י אֵ֚ת צֹאַ֣ת בְּנוֹת־צִיּ֔וֹן וְאֶת־דְּמֵ֥י יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם יָדִ֣יחַ מִקִּרְבָּ֑הּ בְּר֥וּחַ מִשְׁפָּ֖ט וּבְר֥וּחַ בָּעֵֽר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Żiyyon, and shall have purged the blood of Yerushalayim from its midst by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.


###### Isaiah 4:5

וּבָרָ֣א יְהֹוָ֡ה עַל֩ כׇּל־מְכ֨וֹן הַר־צִיּ֜וֹן וְעַל־מִקְרָאֶ֗הָ עָנָ֤ן׀יוֹמָם֙ וְעָשָׁ֔ן וְנֹ֛גַהּ אֵ֥שׁ לֶהָבָ֖ה לָ֑יְלָה כִּ֥י עַל־כׇּל־כָּב֖וֹד חֻפָּֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Żiyyon, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall there be a canopy.


###### Isaiah 4:6

וְסֻכָּ֛ה תִּהְיֶ֥ה לְצֵל־יוֹמָ֖ם מֵחֹ֑רֶב וּלְמַחְסֶה֙ וּלְמִסְתּ֔וֹר מִזֶּ֖רֶם וּמִמָּטָֽר׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
