###### Isaiah 43:1

וְעַתָּ֞ה כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ בֹּרַאֲךָ֣ יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אַל־תִּירָא֙ כִּ֣י גְאַלְתִּ֔יךָ קָרָ֥אתִי בְשִׁמְךָ֖ לִי־אָֽתָּה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
But now thus says the Lord that created thee, O Ya῾aqov, and he that formed thee, O Yisra᾽el, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.


###### Isaiah 43:2

כִּֽי־תַעֲבֹ֤ר בַּמַּ֙יִם֙ אִתְּךָ־אָ֔נִי וּבַנְּהָר֖וֹת לֹ֣א יִשְׁטְפ֑וּךָ כִּֽי־תֵלֵ֤ךְ בְּמוֹ־אֵשׁ֙ לֹ֣א תִכָּוֶ֔ה וְלֶהָבָ֖ה לֹ֥א תִבְעַר־בָּֽךְ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

כִּ֗י אֲנִי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ נָתַ֤תִּי כׇפְרְךָ֙ מִצְרַ֔יִם כּ֥וּשׁ וּסְבָ֖א תַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Yisra᾽el, thy deliverer: I gave Miżrayim for thy ransom, Kush and Seva instead of thee.

מֵאֲשֶׁ֨ר יָקַ֧רְתָּ בְעֵינַ֛י נִכְבַּ֖דְתָּ וַאֲנִ֣י אֲהַבְתִּ֑יךָ וְאֶתֵּ֤ן אָדָם֙ תַּחְתֶּ֔יךָ וּלְאֻמִּ֖ים תַּ֥חַת נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou wast honoured, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

אַל־תִּירָ֖א כִּ֣י אִתְּךָ־אָ֑נִי מִמִּזְרָח֙ אָבִ֣יא זַרְעֶ֔ךָ וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֖ב אֲקַבְּצֶֽךָּ׃

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;


###### Isaiah 43:6

אֹמַ֤ר לַצָּפוֹן֙ תֵּ֔נִי וּלְתֵימָ֖ן אַל־תִּכְלָ֑אִי הָבִ֤יאִי בָנַי֙ מֵרָח֔וֹק וּבְנוֹתַ֖י מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;


###### Isaiah 43:7

כֹּ֚ל הַנִּקְרָ֣א בִשְׁמִ֔י וְלִכְבוֹדִ֖י בְּרָאתִ֑יו יְצַרְתִּ֖יו אַף־עֲשִׂיתִֽיו׃

every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory; I have formed him; yea, I have made him.


###### Isaiah 43:8

הוֹצִ֥יא עַם־עִוֵּ֖ר וְעֵינַ֣יִם יֵ֑שׁ וְחֵרְשִׁ֖ים וְאׇזְנַ֥יִם לָֽמוֹ׃

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

כׇּֽל־הַגּוֹיִ֞ם נִקְבְּצ֣וּ יַחְדָּ֗ו וְיֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ לְאֻמִּ֔ים מִ֤י בָהֶם֙ יַגִּ֣יד זֹ֔את וְרִאשֹׁנ֖וֹת יַשְׁמִיעֻ֑נוּ יִתְּנ֤וּ עֵֽדֵיהֶם֙ וְיִצְדָּ֔קוּ וְיִשְׁמְע֖וּ וְיֹאמְר֥וּ אֱמֶֽת׃

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them can declare this, and announce to us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.


###### Isaiah 43:10

אַתֶּ֤ם עֵדַי֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְעַבְדִּ֖י אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחָ֑רְתִּי לְמַ֣עַן תֵּ֠דְע֠וּ וְתַאֲמִ֨ינוּ לִ֤י וְתָבִ֙ינוּ֙ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י ה֔וּא לְפָנַי֙ לֹא־נ֣וֹצַר אֵ֔ל וְאַחֲרַ֖י לֹ֥א יִהְיֶֽה׃{ס}

You are my witnesses, says the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

אָנֹכִ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין מִבַּלְעָדַ֖י מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no deliverer.


###### Isaiah 43:12

אָנֹכִ֞י הִגַּ֤דְתִּי וְהוֹשַׁ֙עְתִּי֙ וְהִשְׁמַ֔עְתִּי וְאֵ֥ין בָּכֶ֖ם זָ֑ר וְאַתֶּ֥ם עֵדַ֛י נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֖ה וַאֲנִי־אֵֽל׃

I have declared, and have saved, and I have announced, and there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, says the Lord, and I am God.


###### Isaiah 43:13

גַּם־מִיּוֹם֙ אֲנִ֣י ה֔וּא וְאֵ֥ין מִיָּדִ֖י מַצִּ֑יל אֶפְעַ֖ל וּמִ֥י יְשִׁיבֶֽנָּה׃{ס}

Yea, from the first I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall reverse it?


###### Isaiah 43:14

כֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה גֹּאַלְכֶ֖ם קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְמַעַנְכֶ֞ם שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי בָבֶ֗לָה וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י בָֽרִיחִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם וְכַשְׂדִּ֖ים בָּאֳנִיּ֥וֹת רִנָּתָֽם׃

Thus says the Lord, your redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra᾽el; For your sake I have sent to Bavel, and will bring down all of them as fugitives, the Kasdim, in the ships of their song.


###### Isaiah 43:15

אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה קְדֽוֹשְׁכֶ֑ם בּוֹרֵ֥א יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מַלְכְּכֶֽם׃{ס}

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Yisra᾽el, your King.


###### Isaiah 43:16

כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה הַנּוֹתֵ֥ן בַּיָּ֖ם דָּ֑רֶךְ וּבְמַ֥יִם עַזִּ֖ים נְתִיבָֽה׃

Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;


###### Isaiah 43:17

הַמּוֹצִ֥יא רֶכֶב־וָס֖וּס חַ֣יִל וְעִזּ֑וּז יַחְדָּ֤ו יִשְׁכְּבוּ֙ בַּל־יָק֔וּמוּ דָּעֲכ֖וּ כַּפִּשְׁתָּ֥ה כָבֽוּ׃

who brings out chariot and horse, army and power; they lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick.


###### Isaiah 43:18

אַֽל־תִּזְכְּר֖וּ רִאשֹׁנ֑וֹת וְקַדְמֹנִיּ֖וֹת אַל־תִּתְבֹּנָֽנוּ׃

Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

הִנְנִ֨י עֹשֶׂ֤ה חֲדָשָׁה֙ עַתָּ֣ה תִצְמָ֔ח הֲל֖וֹא תֵּדָע֑וּהָ אַ֣ף אָשִׂ֤ים בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ דֶּ֔רֶךְ בִּישִׁמ֖וֹן נְהָרֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.


###### Isaiah 43:20

תְּכַבְּדֵ֙נִי֙ חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה תַּנִּ֖ים וּבְנ֣וֹת יַעֲנָ֑ה כִּֽי־נָתַ֨תִּי בַמִּדְבָּ֜ר מַ֗יִם נְהָרוֹת֙ בִּֽישִׁימֹ֔ן לְהַשְׁק֖וֹת עַמִּ֥י בְחִירִֽי׃

The beast of the field shall honour me, the jackals and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.


###### Isaiah 43:21

עַם־זוּ֙ יָצַ֣רְתִּי לִ֔י תְּהִלָּתִ֖י יְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃{ס}

This people have I formed for myself; they shall relate my praise.

וְלֹא־אֹתִ֥י קָרָ֖אתָ יַעֲקֹ֑ב כִּֽי־יָגַ֥עְתָּ בִּ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

But thou hast not called upon me, O Ya῾aqov; but thou hast been weary of me, O Yisra᾽el.

לֹֽא־הֵבֵ֤יאתָ לִּי֙ שֵׂ֣ה עֹלֹתֶ֔יךָ וּזְבָחֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א כִבַּדְתָּ֑נִי לֹ֤א הֶעֱבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙ בְּמִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הוֹגַעְתִּ֖יךָ בִּלְבוֹנָֽה׃

Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings: nor hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with a meal offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

לֹא־קָנִ֨יתָ לִּ֤י בַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ קָנֶ֔ה וְחֵ֥לֶב זְבָחֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א הִרְוִיתָ֑נִי אַ֗ךְ הֶעֱבַדְתַּ֙נִי֙ בְּחַטֹּאותֶ֔יךָ הוֹגַעְתַּ֖נִי בַּעֲוֺנֹתֶֽיךָ׃

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, nor hast thou sated me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast burdened me with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.


###### Isaiah 43:25

אָנֹכִ֨י אָנֹכִ֥י ה֛וּא מֹחֶ֥ה פְשָׁעֶ֖יךָ לְמַעֲנִ֑י וְחַטֹּאתֶ֖יךָ לֹ֥א אֶזְכֹּֽר׃

I, even I, am he that blots out thy transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

הַזְכִּירֵ֕נִי נִשָּׁפְטָ֖ה יָ֑חַד סַפֵּ֥ר אַתָּ֖ה לְמַ֥עַן תִּצְדָּֽק׃

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayst be justified.

Thy first father has sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

וַאֲחַלֵּ֖ל שָׂ֣רֵי קֹ֑דֶשׁ וְאֶתְּנָ֤ה לַחֵ֙רֶם֙ יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְגִדּוּפִֽים׃{פ}

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Ya῾aqov to destruction, and Yisra᾽el to reviling.
