###### Isaiah 45:1

כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָה֮ לִמְשִׁיחוֹ֮ לְכ֣וֹרֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־הֶחֱזַ֣קְתִּי בִימִינ֗וֹ לְרַד־לְפָנָיו֙ גּוֹיִ֔ם וּמׇתְנֵ֥י מְלָכִ֖ים אֲפַתֵּ֑חַ לִפְתֹּ֤חַ לְפָנָיו֙ דְּלָתַ֔יִם וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִסָּגֵֽרוּ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Koresh, whose right hand I have held, that I may subdue nations before him, and loose the loins of kings; that I may open before him doors and gates which shall not be shut;


###### Isaiah 45:2

אֲנִי֙ לְפָנֶ֣יךָ אֵלֵ֔ךְ וַהֲדוּרִ֖ים (אושר) [אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר] דַּלְת֤וֹת נְחוּשָׁה֙ אֲשַׁבֵּ֔ר וּבְרִיחֵ֥י בַרְזֶ֖ל אֲגַדֵּֽעַ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I will go before thee, and make the mountainous places level: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:


###### Isaiah 45:3

וְנָתַתִּ֤י לְךָ֙ אוֹצְר֣וֹת חֹ֔שֶׁךְ וּמַטְמֻנֵ֖י מִסְתָּרִ֑ים לְמַ֣עַן תֵּדַ֗ע כִּֽי־אֲנִ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה הַקּוֹרֵ֥א בְשִׁמְךָ֖ אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayst know that I, the Lord, who call thee by thy name, am the God of Yisra᾽el.

לְמַ֙עַן֙ עַבְדִּ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּחִירִ֑י וָאֶקְרָ֤א לְךָ֙ בִּשְׁמֶ֔ךָ אֲכַנְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For Ya῾aqov my servant’s sake, and Yisra᾽el my elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.


###### Isaiah 45:5

אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין ע֔וֹד זוּלָתִ֖י אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃

I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:


###### Isaiah 45:6

לְמַ֣עַן יֵדְע֗וּ מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ וּמִמַּ֣עֲרָבָ֔הֿ כִּי־אֶ֖פֶס בִּלְעָדָ֑י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else,


###### Isaiah 45:7

יוֹצֵ֥ר אוֹר֙ וּבוֹרֵ֣א חֹ֔שֶׁךְ עֹשֶׂ֥ה שָׁל֖וֹם וּב֣וֹרֵא רָ֑ע אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹשֶׂ֥ה כׇל־אֵֽלֶּה׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I, the Lord, do all these things.


###### Isaiah 45:8

הַרְעִ֤יפוּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּ֔עַל וּשְׁחָקִ֖ים יִזְּלוּ־צֶ֑דֶק תִּפְתַּח־אֶ֣רֶץ וְיִפְרוּ־יֶ֗שַׁע וּצְדָקָ֤ה תַצְמִ֙יחַ֙ יַ֔חַד אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּרָאתִֽיו׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up also; I, the Lord, have created it.


###### Isaiah 45:9

ה֗וֹי רָ֚ב אֶת־יֹ֣צְר֔וֹ חֶ֖רֶשׂ אֶת־חַרְשֵׂ֣י אֲדָמָ֑ה הֲיֹאמַ֨ר חֹ֤מֶר לְיֹֽצְרוֹ֙ מַֽה־תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה וּפׇעׇלְךָ֖ אֵין־יָדַ֥יִם לֽוֹ׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Woe to him that strives with his maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What makest thou? as for thy work, it has no hands?


###### Isaiah 45:10

ה֛וֹי אֹמֵ֥ר לְאָ֖ב מַה־תּוֹלִ֑יד וּלְאִשָּׁ֖ה מַה־תְּחִילִֽין׃{ס}

Woe to him that says to his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, With what art thou in travail?


###### Isaiah 45:11

כֹּה־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְיֹצְר֑וֹ הָאֹתִיּ֣וֹת שְׁאָל֔וּנִי עַל־בָּנַ֛י וְעַל־פֹּ֥עַל יָדַ֖י תְּצַוֻּֽנִי׃

Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Yisra᾽el, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command me.


###### Isaiah 45:12

אָֽנֹכִי֙ עָשִׂ֣יתִי אֶ֔רֶץ וְאָדָ֖ם עָלֶ֣יהָ בָרָ֑אתִי אֲנִ֗י יָדַי֙ נָט֣וּ שָׁמַ֔יִם וְכׇל־צְבָאָ֖ם צִוֵּֽיתִי׃

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.


###### Isaiah 45:13

אָֽנֹכִי֙ הַעִירֹתִ֣הֽוּ בְצֶ֔דֶק וְכׇל־דְּרָכָ֖יו אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר הֽוּא־יִבְנֶ֤ה עִירִי֙ וְגָלוּתִ֣י יְשַׁלֵּ֔חַ לֹ֤א בִמְחִיר֙ וְלֹ֣א בְשֹׁ֔חַד אָמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make straight all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, says the Lord of hosts.


###### Isaiah 45:14

כֹּ֣ה**׀** אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה יְגִ֨יעַ מִצְרַ֥יִם וּֽסְחַר־כּוּשׁ֮ וּסְבָאִים֮ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִדָּה֒ עָלַ֤יִךְ יַעֲבֹ֙רוּ֙ וְלָ֣ךְ יִֽהְי֔וּ אַחֲרַ֣יִךְ יֵלֵ֔כוּ בַּזִּקִּ֖ים יַעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְאֵלַ֤יִךְ יִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ֙ אֵלַ֣יִךְ יִתְפַּלָּ֔לוּ אַ֣ךְ בָּ֥ךְ אֵ֛ל וְאֵ֥ין ע֖וֹד אֶ֥פֶס אֱלֹהִֽים׃

Thus says the Lord, The labour of Miżrayim, and the merchandise of Kush and of the Seva᾽im, men of stature, shall come over to thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down to thee, they shall make supplication to thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no other God.


###### Isaiah 45:15

אָכֵ֕ן אַתָּ֖ה אֵ֣ל מִסְתַּתֵּ֑ר אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

Verily Thou art a God who hidest Thyself, Thou are the God of Yisra᾽el who savest them.


###### Isaiah 45:16

בּ֥וֹשׁוּ וְגַֽם־נִכְלְמ֖וּ כֻּלָּ֑ם יַחְדָּו֙ הָלְכ֣וּ בַכְּלִמָּ֔ה חָרָשֵׁ֖י צִירִֽים׃

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.


###### Isaiah 45:17

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּֽיהֹוָ֔ה תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת עוֹלָמִ֑ים לֹא־תֵבֹ֥שׁוּ וְלֹא־תִכָּלְמ֖וּ עַד־ע֥וֹלְמֵי עַֽד׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
But Yisra᾽el shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be ashamed nor confounded to all eternity.


###### Isaiah 45:18

כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָֽמַר־יְ֠הֹוָ֠ה בּוֹרֵ֨א הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם ה֣וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים יֹצֵ֨ר הָאָ֤רֶץ וְעֹשָׂהּ֙ ה֣וּא כֽוֹנְנָ֔הּ לֹא־תֹ֥הוּ בְרָאָ֖הּ לָשֶׁ֣בֶת יְצָרָ֑הּ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד׃

For thus says the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he did not create it a waste land, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.


###### Isaiah 45:19

לֹ֧א בַסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי בִּמְקוֹם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ חֹ֔שֶׁךְ לֹ֥א אָמַ֛רְתִּי לְזֶ֥רַע יַעֲקֹ֖ב תֹּ֣הוּ בַקְּשׁ֑וּנִי אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ דֹּבֵ֣ר צֶ֔דֶק מַגִּ֖יד מֵישָׁרִֽים׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I have not spoken in secret, in a place of a land of darkness: I said not to the seed of Ya῾aqov, Seek me in an empty waste: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.


###### Isaiah 45:20

הִקָּבְצ֥וּ וָבֹ֛אוּ הִֽתְנַגְּשׁ֥וּ יַחְדָּ֖ו פְּלִיטֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֑ם לֹ֣א יָדְע֗וּ הַנֹּֽשְׂאִים֙ אֶת־עֵ֣ץ פִּסְלָ֔ם וּמִֽתְפַּלְלִ֔ים אֶל־אֵ֖ל לֹ֥א יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge, those that carry about their wooden carved idol, and pray to a god that cannot save.


###### Isaiah 45:21

הַגִּ֣ידוּ וְהַגִּ֔ישׁוּ אַ֥ף יִֽוָּעֲצ֖וּ יַחְדָּ֑ו מִ֣י הִשְׁמִ֩יעַ֩ זֹ֨את מִקֶּ֜דֶם מֵאָ֣ז הִגִּידָ֗הּ הֲל֨וֹא אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵֽין־ע֤וֹד אֱלֹהִים֙ מִבַּלְעָדַ֔י אֵל־צַדִּ֣יק וּמוֹשִׁ֔יעַ אַ֖יִן זוּלָתִֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Declare and bring them near; let them take counsel together: who declared this from ancient time? who told it from that time? did not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a deliverer; there is none beside me.


###### Isaiah 45:22

פְּנוּ־אֵלַ֥י וְהִוָּשְׁע֖וּ כׇּל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ כִּ֥י אֲנִי־אֵ֖ל וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד׃

Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.


###### Isaiah 45:23

בִּ֣י נִשְׁבַּ֔עְתִּי יָצָ֨א מִפִּ֧י צְדָקָ֛ה דָּבָ֖ר וְלֹ֣א יָשׁ֑וּב כִּי־לִי֙ תִּכְרַ֣ע כׇּל־בֶּ֔רֶךְ תִּשָּׁבַ֖ע כׇּל־לָשֽׁוֹן׃

I have sworn by myself, a word of righteousness is gone out of my mouth, a word that shall not be reversed, That to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.


###### Isaiah 45:24

אַ֧ךְ בַּיהֹוָ֛ה לִ֥י אָמַ֖ר צְדָק֣וֹת וָעֹ֑ז עָדָיו֙ יָב֣וֹא וְיֵבֹ֔שׁוּ כֹּ֖ל הַנֶּחֱרִ֥ים בּֽוֹ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Surely, he said to me, in the Lord there is righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.


###### Isaiah 45:25

בַּיהֹוָ֛ה יִצְדְּק֥וּ וְיִֽתְהַלְל֖וּ כׇּל־זֶ֥רַע יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

In the Lord shall all the seed of Yisra᾽el be justified, and shall glory.
