**ומ"ש ונושאי המטה וכו'.** ירושלמי. ונ"ל דהיינו דוקא בזמנם שהיו להם אנשים מיוחדים לשאת את המטה אבל האידנא שאין לנו כתפים מיוחדים אלא הכל מסייעים לישא לית לן בה ומיהו מדיהיב טעמא משום דנמצא מתעכב מן המצוה משמע דאף לדידן נמי אבל מתוך שלא נהגו להקפיד בכך נראה כלשון ראשון:

**ומ״ש וחייב לישב על מטה כפויה.** בפ' אלו מגלחין (מועד קטן דף כ״א) אמרינן דאבל חייב בכפיית המטה ותניא היה ישן ע״ג כסא ע״ג קרקע לא יצא י״ח א״ר יוחנן שלא קיים כפיית המטה ומשמע לרבינו דברייתא בשכפה מטתו ובא לישן ע״ג קרקע היא וא״ר יוחנן שלא קיים כפיית המטה כיון שאינו שוכב עליה ומ״מ איני יודע מנין לו לחלק בין יום ראשון לשאר ימים. והראב״ד כתב על מ״ש רבינו וחייב לישב על מטה כפויה לא ראיתי שורש לזה. וכבר כתבתי טעם רבינו:
