לְשׁוֹן רַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה מִדִּירַת הַצַּדִּיק נִכָּר מַעֲשֵׂה הַדּוֹר. וְסִימָן לַדָּבָר: וְהִיא יוֹשֶׁבֶת תַּחַת תֹּמֶר (שופטים ד׳:ה׳), וְאָמְרוּ חֲכָמֵינוּ זִכְרוֹנָם לִבְרָכָה (מגילה יד): מַה תָּמָר אֵין לוֹ אֶלָּא לֵב אֶחָד אַף יִשְׂרָאֵל כֵּן: (עַד כָּאן לְשׁוֹנוֹ זַ"ל)

The abode of the tzaddik is an indication of the deeds of the generation. A pointer to this is, “and she sat under a date palm” (Judges 4:5). Our Sages, of blessed memory, said: Just as the date palm has only one heart, so too the Jewish people (Megillah 14a).
