והמקור בלמ"ד שנקשר אל פעל מורה מיעוט וגדר: "לא **תלמד לעשות**" – אבל תלמד להורות. (אחרי ס' קכה).וכן בא להגביל הפעל הראשון: "כי **תחל לזנות**", בל נפרש כי תחל בעניני חול זולת זנות. (אמור ס' כ)

The infinitive with the letter ל that is connected to a verb teaches a diminution and a boundary: לא **תלמד לעשות** (you shall not learn to do)²⁶⁷ – *but you may learn to teach*. And moreover, it will come to limit the first verb: כי **תחל לזנות** (if she profanes herself by playing the harlot)²⁶⁸, do not interpret it to mean that she profanes herself with any profanity other than harlotry.
