מתפארת הלשון שלא יחזיר את השם בכל פעם. רק אחר שנזכר בפעם הראשון, אם הוא שם הנושא, יסמוך כל הפעלים עליו. ואם הוא שם הפעול ירמזהו על ידי כינוי. [כמו: "**ושחט אותו**", "**והזה עליו**", "**ושחטו**"]. וזה כלל בכל הלשונות. ועל כן בכל מקום שכפל השם, בין שם הנושא בין שם הפעל, שלא לצורך – יש בו דרוש תמיד. והדרושים האלה יהיו בכמה דרכים.

It is because of the elegance of the language that it will not repeat a noun each time: After it is mentioned the first time, if it is a subject, all of the predicates will imply it. And if it is a direct object, it will be implied to through a pronoun (like **ושחט אותו** - and slaughter it, **והזה עליו** - and sprinkle upon it, **ושחטו** - and slaughter it). And this is a rule in all languages. Thus, any place where a noun is repeated unnecessarily, whether it is a subject or an object – there will always be a homiletical interpretation. And these homiletical interpretations will be in several ways.
