אם דרך שיעשה להכלל – נפרש שמוסב על הכלל; כמו "ועשו לי מקדש", "והבאתם את עומר".

If the way of doing is as a group – it means that it is referring to the public, like ועשו לי מקדש (And let them make Me a sanctuary)⁴³ or והבאתם את עומר (you shall bring the sheaf)⁴⁴.

ואלה שדרך לעשות ע"י כל יחיד בפני עצמו – נפרש שרצונו לומר כל אחד ואחד; כמו "וכי תזבחו זבח שלמים", "ועשו להם ציצית".

And those for which the way to do them is for every individual to do it for himself – it is interpreted that it means to say each and every individual; like וכי תזבחו זבח שלמים (And when you offer a sacrifice of peace-offerings)⁴⁵ and ועשו להם ציצית (and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes)⁴⁶.

ומזה עמד פלוגתא בין ר' יהודה ורבנן בפעל 'ונטעתם' שלגבי ערלה. (קדושים ס' סג)
