וכן במאמרי התנאים. בתולדות התנאי יקדים את המלה שהיא עיקר. ועל כן אם הפעל הבא בתולדה בא כבר בהתנאי – יבוא מאוחר. "אדם כי **יקריב** קרבן…מן הבהמה **תקריבו**…אם עולה קרבנו זכר תמים **יקריבנו**".

And moreover, in the conclusions of conditional statements, the most important word will come first. Therefore, if the verb that comes in a conclusion already comes in the hypothesis, it will come later. אדם כי **יקריב** קרבן..מן הבהמה **תקריבו**...אם עולה קרבנו זכר תמים **יקריבנו** (When any man of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd or of the flock. If his offering be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish)⁴⁵³.

ומה שנאמר "ואם מן העוף קרבנו…**והקריב** מן התורים" הוא נגד חוקי הלשון, שהיה לו לכתוב "מן התורים יקריב", ויש בו דרוש. (ויקרא עג)

And when it is said ואם מן העוף קרבנו..**והקריב** מן התורים (And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons)⁴⁵⁴, this is the opposite of the rules of the language, as it should have said מן התורים יקריב, and there is a homiletical interpretation.

*Leviticus 1:14 says,*ואם מן העוף עלה קרבנו ליהוה והקריב מן התרים או מן בני היונה את קרבנו*(And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons), using the word והקריב for “he shall bring”. The reason why והקריב comes at the beginning of the conclusion of the conditional statement is to teach that two can bring it in partnership⁴⁵⁵.*
