וראוי שהחלוקות יהיו זו כנגד זו, לא שיתפוס דברים שאינם יסוד בחלוקה ולא תנאים לה.

ועל כן במה שכתוב "ועשה לפר כאשר עשה לפר החטאת" אינו מדויק, אחר שגם זה פר החטאת, ויש בו דרוש. (ויקרא ס' רנג)

Thus, when it is written ועשה לפר כאשר עשה לפר החטאת (Thus shall he do with the bullock; as he did with the bullock of the sin-offering)⁵⁰⁶ it is not accurate, as both bullocks are of the sin-offerings, and there is a homiletical explanation.

And moreover, when it says וזה לכם הטמא בשרץ השורץ על הארץ(And these are they which are unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm upon the earth)⁵⁰⁸ – it implies that there are swarming things in the water.
