ויש הבדל בין "**הגר בתוככם**" ובין "**הגר אתכם**". שלשון "הגר אתכם" בא על מי שנתגייר מקרוב, ולשון "הגר בתוככם" מורה שנתגייר זה ימים רבים. וכן לשון "**גר בישראל**" מורה שגר מכבר. (אחרי ס' עה. קדושים ס' פא, קדושים ס' פג)

And there is a difference between **הגר בתוככם** and **הגר אתכם** (the stranger that resides among you): The language **הגר אתכם** comes on someone who converted now, while the language **הגר בתוככם** teaches that he was converted this many days ago. And moreover, the language **גר בישראל** (convert in Israel) teaches that he converted long ago.
