ויש הבדל בין "**ביום אחד**" ובין "**ביום ההוא**". "ביום ההוא" היינו היום עם הלילה שאחריו, ו"ביום אחד" הוא דוקא יום ולילה שלפניו כמו במעשה בראשית. (אמור ס' קלד).

There is a difference between **ביום אחד** (in one day)⁶⁰⁶ and **ביום ההוא** (on the same day)⁶⁰⁷. **ביום ההוא** means the day with the night coming afterwards, while **ביום אחד** is precisely the day and the night that was before it, as it was when the world was created.

וכל מקום שאמר "**ממחרת**" הוא דוקא היום שלאחריו ואין הלילה בכלל. (צו ס' קטז)
