וכן פעל '**לון**' יפורש לפעמים על מקצת הלילה, והוצרך להוסיף "עד הבקר". ובמקום שאין לטעות הוסיף "עד הבקר" שלא נפרש על לינות הרבה, כי מצאנו פעל 'לון' על ההתמדה לילות הרבה (קדושים ס' לא)

And moreover, the verb **לון** (sleep overnight) sometimes means part of the night, so it needs to add עד הבקר (until morning) for it to mean *all of the night*. And in a place where one cannot make a mistake and think that it means only part of the night, it will add עד הבקר in order to indicate that it does not mean many lodgings, since we find that the verb **לון** can refer to many nights in a row.
