לשון **'הקרבה'** יבוא על ההולכה [כמו "והקריב את הכל"] והוא מענין **'קרב'** הנרדף עם **'נגש'**. ובא גם על הזריקה. וחז"ל יפרשו אותו גם על ההקדש מענין קרבן. (ויקרא ס' לז. ועיין מצורע סימן מה. צו סי' קיח, סי' קיט. אמור ס' קח, וסימן קטו)

The language **הקרבה** (sacrifice) comes on the delivery (like והקריב את הכל) and it is from the theme of **קרב** (come close) that it is synonymous with **נגש** (approach). And it also comes on the spilling of blood. And the sages of blessed memory explain that it also refers to sacred property, from the theme of sacrifice.

ובמה שכתוב "והקריבו הכהנים" פירשו על הקבלה מענין קרב ותוך. (ויקרא סימן לז)

And when it is written והקריבו הכהנים (and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood)⁶⁴⁸, it means receiving, from the theme of *close* and *within*.
