ויש הבדל בין **כחש** ובין **שקר**. שהשקר יצויר גם בדבר שאי אפשר לדעתו כלל. (ויקרא ס' שעה. קדושים ס' כד)

And there is a difference between **כחש** and **שקר** (falsehood), in that **שקר** is used also in a matter where it is impossible to know that it is false.
