וכן יש הבדל בפעל **'סר'** הבא סתם – שיהיה לפעמים שסר מצד זה לצד זה, ובין כשאומר "**וסר מן**" שרצונו לומר שסר לגמרי (תזריע סימן קעח).

And moreover, there is a difference between when the verb **סר** (depart) comes alone – that sometimes it will mean depart from this side to this side – and when it says **וסר מן** (depart from) - that it means to say that it departs completely.

ופעל **מסיר** לא יצדק רק בשני דברים נפרדים שאין דבוקים רק דיבוק שכני, לא אם מחלק עצם אחד לשנים שעל זה ישמש בפעל "**כורת חותך**" וכדומה (ויקרא סימן קפג).

And the verb **מסיר** (remove) is only correct with respect to two separate things that are only stuck together as neighbors, not if one object is split into two parts – that then it will use verbs **כורת ,חותך** etc.
