ויש הבדל בין **מקור** ובין **מבוע**. 'המקור' הוא המקום ששם יתחיל נביעת המים המתפשטים בעומק האדמה, 'והמבוע' מציין זרימת המקור לחוץ. (תזריע סימן כט)

There is a difference between **מקור** (source) and **מבוע** (spring): **מקור** is the place where a spring of water which extends deep in the ground begins, while **מבוע** indicates the flow of the source to the outside.
