שם "**רר**" ושם "**רק**" הונחו על הרוק הנוטף מן הפה. ו"רק" נקרא בעת שמריקו ומשליכו בכח, וה"ריר" נוטף מאליו.

The noun **רר** (drool) and the noun **רק** (spit) refer to the saliva that drips from the mouth. And it is called **רק** in a time when it is emptied and expelled with force, while **רר** drips on its own.

ו"**רר**" מובדל מן "**זב**". ש"רר" מיוחד אל הנוטף מן הגוף לבד, ו"זב" כולל כל דבר לח הזב וניגר.

And **רר** is different from **זב** (drip), in that **רר** means dripping from the body alone, while **זב** includes any moist matter that drips and flows.

ו"**זב**" נבדל מן **הנוזל וניגר**. שה"זב" היא טיפים טיפים ו"הנוזל והניגר" הוא בשפע.

And **זב** is distinguished from **הנוזל** and **ניגר** (flow) in that **זב** comes in little drops, while הנוזל והניגר come in abundance.
