יש הבדל בין "**עץ מאכל**" ל"**עץ פרי**". ש"עץ מאכל" היינו שיהיה מיוחד למאכל, לא לסייג ולקורות (קדושים סימן ס)

There is a difference between **עץ מאכל** (tree for food) and **עץ פרי** (fruit tree): **עץ מאכל** means that it will be special for eating, not for a fence or for beams of wood.

ויש הבדל בין **פרי** ובין **תבואה**. ש'פרי' כולל גם בעודו במעמד הגידול אבל 'תבואה' היא הנגמרת. (קדושים סימן סט. בהר סימן ה, וסימן יא)
