ויש הבדל בין "**קרוב לו**" ובין "**קרוב אליו**". שהעומד בקורבה נוכחיית יאמר "קרוב אליו", ומי שאינו בקורבה נוכחיית יאמר "קרוב לו". ולכן בא לשון "קרוב לו" על עצמיים הגיונים. וכן בא על שארו שנתרחק (אמור סימן ה).

And there is a difference between **קרוב לו** and **קרוב אליו** (close to him): For whoever is standing facing close, it will say קרוב אליו, and for whoever is not facing close, it will say קרוב לו. And thus, the language קרוב לו comes to describe one’s sense of being. And moreover, it comes to describe one’s distant relatives.
