וכל מקום שנדע מן הענין שהוי"ו בא לחלק – ראוי לכתוב בוי"ו. וכשכתוב מלת "או" הוא מיותר ובא לדרשה תמיד (**קדושים** ס' קא. **ויקרא** ס' רצט, וסימן שיב. **שמיני** ס' קיז. **תזריע** ס' כג, וסימן לג, וסימן קיט, וסימן קכ, וסימן קמה, וסימן קפא. **אחרי** סימן קב, וסימן קג. **אמור** ס' קכה, וסימן קל)

And any place where it is known from the context that the letter ו means “or” – it is proper for it to be written with the letter ו. And whenever the wordאו is written, it is superfluous and there will always be a homiletical interpretation.
