בפעלים החוזרים שציין אותם במלת [**לו, לך, לכם, להם**] מורה שתהיה הפעולה לעצמו ולא לזולת (מצורע ס' קמט, וסימן קנג)

**Ayelet Hashachar, translated by Betzalel Avraham Feinstein, 2021:**
When reflexive verbs come with the word [ **לו , לך , לכם , להם** ], it teaches that the action will be toward itself and not toward another.

*Leviticus 15:13 says,וכי יטהר הזב מזובו וספר לו שבעת ימים לטהרתו וכבס בגדיו ורחץ בשרו במים חיים וטהר (And when he that has an issue is cleansed of his issue, then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean). The verb*וספר *for “then he shall number” is an example of a reflexive verb coming with the word לו “to himself” acting toward himself and not toward another⁷⁷¹.*
