ומצד זה הסתפקו בשם **שְׁבֻעַיִם**, שיתכן שהוא שם המספר מן 'שבע' ופירושו שבעה כפלים כמו "ארבעתים" – על חד ארבע. וגם דהא שבוע נקבה והיה לו לכתוב **שבועות** (תזריע ס' יט).

From this perspective, we can be content that the noun **שְׁבֻעַיִם**(two weeks)¹⁹ is likely from the number שבע (seven) and they interpret it as *שבעה כפלים* (double seven), which equals ארבעתים (fourteen). And there is also שבוע (week) in feminine, which is written **שבועות**.
