כל שלא בא מספר סידורי, רק מספר פשוט, אין הכרח שיהיה רצוף. למשל, כשאמר "בניתי את הבית **עשר שנים**" – אין הכרח שיהיו רצופים.

Anything that comes only as a cardinal number and not an ordinal number does not have to be consecutive. For example, if it says בניתי את הבית **עשר שנים** (I built the house for ten years), they do not have to be ten consecutive years.
