שאם בא המספר אחר הפעל יהיה לפעמים עד ולא עד בכלל.

אבל אם יקדים את המספר – כמו "שבעת ימים מצות תאכלו", "שבעת ימים תהיה בנדתה" – צריך שבעה ימים שלמים ולא אמרינן מקצת היום ככולו. (מצורע ס' קעב)

But if the number precedes it – as with שבעת ימים מצות תאכלו (Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread)¹⁵¹, שבעת ימים תהיה בנדתה (she shall be in her impurity seven days)¹⁵² – it needs seven full days, and we do not say *part of the day is like all of it*.
