**נתן לנו את השבת.** דע"י מן הודיע הקב"ה שבת ולקטו לחם משנה ורמז בזה הנשמה יתרה והורדת המן מופת חותך שיום שבת קודש הוא לה' והמן הוא נברא בע"ש בין השמשות כדאי' בפסחים דף נ"ד ונגמר בריאתו קודם שבת לכך לא ירד בשבת כי המן מורה על הבריאה:
