**כדי שתדבק כו'**היינו שתרצה להיות מרכבה אל השכינה כמו האבות ודומיהם. הר"נ:

**והוא שהנפש עצם פשוט רוחני**כו' בא לקרב הדבר ולהבינו מהיכן יצא זה שהאדם הולך אחר התאות הגופניות וחוטא הלא הגוף בלא נשמה הוא כאבן דומם וכי הנשמה יש לה תאות הגופניות ואמר שבאמת הנפש היא עצם פשוט רוחני וכו' ואין לה שום תאות הבהמיות הן קודם בואה לעוה"ז וכן אחר הפרדה מהגוף. והיא דומה לאישים הרוחניים הם מלאכי מעלה:

**לחוס עליו**על הגוף כמ"ש שם פ"ב וז"ל ונטע הבורא ות' בנפשו מדות וכחות יכסוף בהם לדברים כאשר יתנהג בהם האדם לגדל בהם גופו ויתחזק על ישוב העולם הזה ע"ש פי':

**ככסוף**כמו שכוסף האדם וחושק להיות לו רופא ויזמין לעצמו מה שישמשהו להשקיט לו מחליו. (ר"ל שיזמין מי שישמשו לרופא כדי שיהא הרופא פנוי לרפאות אותו כדוגמא הזה הוא בהנשמה והגוף ודו"ק. ר"נ):

**ויחשוב על אודותיו**על כל צרכיו כן כוסף הנפש שלא תמנעם צרכי הגוף מלעשות לעצמה לנשמתה כמו שמפרש:

**בכל זה**ר"ל בכל זמן ועדן. או בכל זה אע"פ שהיה מתאוה ג"כ לתקנת עצמה רק שאין לה פנאי לזה מפני שאין לנפש השקט ומנוחה מבלי מרגוע כל זמן שלא תרגיע ותרפא מדוה הגוף לתת לו די מחסורו ממאכל ומלבוש ויתר צרכיו אין להנפש מנוחה להשתמש בשכל:

**נטרדה הנפש כו'**ע"י טרדת צרכי הגוף תמיד נטרדה ותשכח את הראוים לה לנפש שהם מיוחדים בה שעל ידם יראה לה הצלחה בבית מרגועה להעוה"ב והוא השכל שיש בנפש שטח מראות עיניו שלא יוכל להאיר לו מחמת תמידות צרכי הגוף:

**ותטה במחשבתה כו'**לאמר מתי אעשה לביתי שהוא אופני הצלתה ואז תפרוש מן העוה"ז לגמרי כו' ואז יפקחו עיניה כו' מעלה מעלה עד שתבא לאהבה הזכה לאלהים ותשוקה כוס האהבה כו':
