(יט) פי' כי היה ראוי להיות מלת השלם אביכם בלא וי"ו, כמו "ויבא יעקב שלם" (למעלה לג יח) והיה פי' השלם אביכם, אם אביהם הוא שלם, ובא המלה השלום בוי"ו שהוא שם דבר אם שלום לאביהם והוא שם דבר משלוה:

(כ) לדעת הח' ז"ל, מלת שלום איננה בכל מקום רק שם דבר ולא תאר, ולכן יפרש שתחסר הלמ"ד, ושיעורו השלום לאביכם, וכן "ואתה שלום וביתך שלום", וכן תיוב"ע, וכן הוא בת"א לפי גי' "יאר" "לאבוכון":

(כה) הטעם נתחממו ועלה עשן החום אל המוח והזיל הדמעה, ויוב"ע תרגם "אַרום רָחְשו רַחְמוי" פי' כמו "רחש לבי" שענינו נענוע ונדנוד, כי כן דרך הרוצה לבכות:

(כז) ולא ימצא כי אם בהצטרפות על החלקים שיתרבו במדה ובמספר, ולא על חלק אחד, וכן "וארבע הידות" (למטה מז כד) "ושתי הידות בכם" (מ"ב יא ז) "עשר ידות, לי במלך" (ש"ב יט מד), ונקרא החלק יד, שהוא מקום מוכן לאדם חלקו:

(ל) פי' אם הוא כפשוטו, ויהיה לו ב' חלקים, והנה האחים היו עשרה, וה' פעמים יו"ד הרי חמשים וזה רחוק והנה לפי דעת הח' ז"ל, נקראים הדורונות משאות, וכן פי' ר"ש ן' מלך, כי אם הכוונה על חלקי הסעודה מדוע יתן לבנימין חמש ידות, והוא לא יאכל ה' פעמים יותר מאחיו, אלא שנתן להם מתנות ודורונות בשעת הסעודה:
