**והנה לקש.** נדמה לי כאלו אחר שנגזז ונקצר העשב למאכל בהמות המלך הצמיחה וגדלה הלקש הוא עשב המאוחר:

**ואמר.** אמרתי בתפלה לה׳ סלח נא עון ישראל ולא תענשם בהבאת הארבה כי מי יקום את יעקב לעמוד על עמדו לכלכלו ברעב כי הוא קטן ואין בו כח ויכולת לכלכל את עצמו למצוא די ספוקו וכל העכו״ם שונאים אותו ולא יאבו לכלכלו וימות א״כ ברעב:

**נחם ה׳.** והנה נתחרט ה׳ על הגזירה הזאת ואמר שלא תהיה עוד:

**ואכל שם לחם.** שם יפרנסו אותך:

**ושם תנבא.** ר״ל שם תקבל שכר על הנבואה שאתה מתנבא רעה על מלכות אפרים כי לאויבים המה לו:

**ובית אל.** אבל בבית אל לא תוסיף עוד להנבא כזאת כי פה הוא ארמון מלך הארץ ההיא ופן אנשיו ימיתוך בשמעם שאתה מתנבא כזאת:

**כי בוקר אנכי.** אני בעל בקר ואינני צריך לשכר ואני כל היום מערבב שקמים עם דברים אחרים למאכל הבקרים ואין אני עוסק בהכנת הנבואה ולמודה:
