**את חות יאיר.** על כי יאיר בן מנשה המוזכר בתורה קרא לעריו חות יאיר לזה קרא גם הוא לעריו חות יאיר כי היה שמו כשמו ועריו מרובות וכמו יאיר הגלעדי השופט המוזכר בשופטי׳ שהיו לבניו שלשים עירים וקראם ג״כ חות יאיר בעבור זה מאתם. ר״ל לאחר מות יאיר לקחו מבניו:
