**כי מצות המלך עליהם.** המלך צוה עליהם שיהיו הם הממונים על המלאכה ואמנה. קיום ותוקף המינוי הזאת הוטלה על המשוררים לתקן בדק הבית בכל יום ויום כפי הצורך:
